Station 84 along with Tanker 85 was dispatched to a brush fire on the 200 block of Betz Rd late Sunday afternoon. The fire started as a result of a lightning strike in the middle of a field. Engine 841 and Rescue Engine 84 were on scene for approximately 30 minutes.

Engine 841 and Squad 841 were dispatched to assist Stations 85 and 86 on a first alarm structure fire response to a residence on the 200 block of Mathieson Rd, in Croyle Township late this morning. A problem with the electrical service created a fire near the electrical service of the home.

Station 84 along with Engine 32 (Richland Twp) responded to a smoke detector alarm in a residence on the 1100 block of Weaver Rd, Adams Township. There were no conditions, the homeowner reset the alarm and all units placed into service.

Commercial Vehicle Fire Rt 219

Station 84 was dispatched for a commercial vehicle fire on Rt 219 northbound near the Sidman exit Wednesday afternoon. Malfunctioning brakes caused the problem on a tractor - trailer. A tanker from Dauntless (Sta 22) was also on the alarm.

Rescue Engine 84 handled a tree down on the highway call Friday morning on WPA Road, near the Little League complex.

Car 84 and Rescue Engine 84 responded to an electrical hazard alarm Saturday afternoon, to the 100 block of Meadow Street. Electrical utility wires snapped in a tree and created a local outage and arcing in the trees nearby.

Crews from Stations 82 and 84 were dispatched to an accident with entrapment near Em's Sub Shop on Forest Hills Drive. Rescue Engine 84, and Squad 841 responded to the late afternoon alarm. Engine 82 used their tool to pop the door and 84's crew assisted with manpower on scene and traffic.
