Station 84 was dispatched for 3 calls around the lunch time hour. The first was a brush fire call to Rt 219, followed by a Residential Fire Alarm on Saddle Club Rd., and ended off with wires down / brush fire on Humbert Rd., in Sidman.

Fire Crews from Stations 82, 84, and 3 handled a fire out call this morning at a residence along Sherry Lane in Adams Township. A small basement fire was extinguished by the home owner prior to our arrival, however the fire filled the basement with smoke.
Station 84 was dispatched for an outdoor smoke investigation to 4th St., St Michael. 84 Captain advised a controlled burn and placed 84 units back into service.
Station 84 was dispatched for an automatic fire alarm at the Forest Hills Personal Care Home on Humbert Rd., Sidman. Second call advised accidental, 84 Deputy held all units in quarters. No conditions.

Engine 841 assisted Engine 821 on a small brush fire on Forest Hills Dr., near Helsel Rd., in Adams Township.
Station 84, along with Station 80, and EMS from Forest HIlls and Portage were dispatched to an accident with injuries shortly after 7Am on the 700 block of Beaver Run Ave. Two vehicles were involved, with EMS transporting one occupant to a local hospital.

The department was dispatched for two separate tree down calls Friday morning, still as a result of the prior day's storm.
Engine 841 handled an automatic fire alarm at the Johnstown Flood Memorial early Friday morning. A power outage in the area was the apparent cause.
The busy day continued Thursday evening as a strong summer storm hit the southern Cambria County area including Adams Township. The department handled numerous alarms ranging from trees and wires down, to a reported structure fire,and a tree into the structure.

As crews were clearing the Lyn Lane alarm, Engine 821 and 841 were dispatched for a small out door fire in the area of Krayn Rd,and Mine 42 Rd. Upon arrival, a large round bale of hay was on fire approximately 200 yards out in the middle of a field.
A first alarm was dispatched for a working fire as a result of a lightning strike at a residence on the 100 block of Lyn Lane, Adams Township. Engine 821 laid into the hydrant, while Engine 611 went to the front of the structure.
A first alarm was dispatched for a structure fire at a residence along Fifty Acre Rd., in Adams Township early Tuesday morning. A single family dwelling was fully involved upon arrival of police and fire units.

Station 84 was dispatched to assist EMS at the Rose of Sharon Home for a lift assist on July 15th, and on July 23rd to a residence on Bridge Street for a forcible entry call.
Stations 82 & 84, along with EMS from 9 (East Hills), responded to an accident along the 2200 block of Centennial Dr., in Adams Township. There were no injuries, and Command 841 returned all 84 units, and EMS and Engine 821 were on scene assisting PD.
