Rescue Engine 84 responded to assist Medic 781 on a lift assist on the 300 block of Palestine Road late Sunday evening.

Rescue 845 assisted Medic 781 on a cardiac arrest to the 300 block of Humbert Rd, Sidman.
Crews from 85 and 84 were dispatched to a Smoke Detector alarm in a residence on the 1000 block of Rockville Rd, Croyle Township. No conditions found and all units placed back into service. EMS from Forst Hills assisted on scene.
A first alarm was dispatched for a structure fire at a residence along the 200 block of Hollow Rd, Adams Township. 84 Chief in command had requested mutual aid departments cancel upon arriving on scene.

A first alarm was dispatched for a working structure fire on the 900 block of Frankstown Rd., Croyle Township. Engine 861 made the attack, followed in by Engine 841. A pumper and tanker shuttle used Engines 851, and 802, Rescue 845, along with tankers from 87 (Wilmore) and 83 (Portage).

The Rescue kept busy over the last two days running 5 vehicle accidents. The first one involved a van vs utility pole on the 700 block of Forest Hills Drive., Sidman. The following number of accidents occured on US RT 219 during poor weather conditions.

Rescue 845 assisted EMS from Station 9 (East Hills) on an unconscious person on Country Inn Rd., Adams Township.

Stations 85 and 84 were dispatched for an accident with entrapment on US Rt 219 northbound between St Michael and South Fork exits. One vehicle, off the road, left the driver confined. The crew from Rescue 845 took the door with the combo tool.
Stations 82,84,and 3 were dispatched for an accident with injuries on Oakridge Dr. Adams Township. Initial reports put Station 3 units on the road, until they found no accident in their portion of the Township.
The third alarm of the day had us responding to an accident with injuries on US Rt 219 between the St Michael and South Fork exits. One vehicle crashed into the median. Rescue 845 and Engine 841 responded on the alarm with units from Station 85.
Rescue 845 and Command 841 responded to assist Station 82 on an accident with injuries near the intesection of Forest Hills Drive and Palestine Road. EMS from 78 (Forest Hills and 88 (Conemaugh Valley) assisted on scene.
Engine 841 was dispatched to assist Station 86 on a commercial fire alarm at Penn Installations, Summerhill Borough. Apparent burnt food set off the detector. All departments were placed back into service prior to any response- no need for Fire Department.
Station 84 and 82 were dispatched for a commercial fire alarm at the Forest Hills Personal Care Home on Humbert Rd., Sidman. Engines 841 & 842 responded on the late morning alarm, and 84 Deputy had the command.
Engine 841 was dispatched to Assist Station 85, and Engine 861 on a chimney fire on the 400 block of Grant St., South Fork Borough.
A quick moving Ice storm caused numerous accidents throughout the region Tuesday afternoon. Rescue 845 responded to assist Medic units from 78 & 9 on a rollover accident on US Rt 219. The rescue assisted PD with other accidents
Engine 841 and Command 841 responded to assist Station 85 on a Chimney Fire on the 800 block of Rockville Rd, Croyle Township. The crew laddered the roof, and assisted with exterior operations. Units cleared in an hours' time.
Wednesday, February 20th, 2013
Station 84 was dispatched for an accident, with no injuries, initially on Rt 219 in Adams Township. The accident was about 1/2 mile north into Croyle Township. One vehicle overturned, no injuries, 84 Deputy cancelled the rescue prior to its arrival.
Monday, February 18th, 2013
Crews were dispatched shortly after midnight to a chimney fire on the 100 block of Huff St., Adams Township. Engine 841 and Command 841 responded to assist Engine 821. Crews laddered the roof and cleared the chimney, while interior crews cleaned out the inside flue pipe.
Rescue 845, along with EMS from 78 & 9 (Forest Hills and East Hills) were dispatched for an accident with multiple vehicles on Beaver Run Ave. Upon arrival, 84 Captain advised of no injuries and al EMS units released.

Engine 841 and 84 Deputy responded to an automatic fire alarm at the Visitor Center of the Johnstown Flood National Memorial. An electrical outage in the area caused the alarm to fault. Park Police and Fire Personel cleared and secured the building- no conditions reported.
Crews handled a number of accidents due to a snow storm moving through the area. The first accident with injuries occured across from the Forest Hills High School, when a driver took out a split rail fence and ended up against a utility pole.
