Stations 82 & 84 were dispatched for an unknown type fire investigation on the 1000 block of Mt Airy Drive in Adams Township. Engine 82-1 advised a small rubbish fire, and cancelled Engines 84-1 and 84-2, and placed all units in service.

A first alarm was dispatched for a structure fire Saturday evening to a residence on the 1100 block of Palestine Rd. A hot flue pipe caused the wood frame around it to ignite. The homeowner extinguished the fire prior to our arrival.

Station 84 was dispatched for an automatic fire alarm at the Johnstown Flood National Memorial, Sunday evening. The facility had no electrical service at the time of the alarm. No conditions were found and we investigated the alarm with Park Police.

Station 84 was dispatched to assist Stations 86 & 85 with traffic control on Rt 219. A quick snowstorm hit the area with almost a foot of snow during rush hour, causing numerous auto accidents throughout the region.

Rescue 845 along with Engine 802 were dispatched for a vehicle accident-no injuries-vehicle rolled over on Beaver Run Ave, near Tipple Rd in Adams Township. Both units assisted with traffic until the vehicle was removed.

A first alarm was activated for a structure fire on the 1000 block of Cameron Ave, Summerhill Township. 80 Chief had all departments hold in quarters, as there was a controlled burn in the area. All stations were placed back into service within 10 minutes.
