Rescue Engine 84 responded to assist PD on a forcible entry to a residence on Ragers Hill Road. Crews were cancelled prior to our arrival.

Rescue Engine 84 handled a tree down blocking the roadway on Naugle Road near the township line.
Saturday, August 6th, 2022
Crews from Stations 82 & 84 were dispatched to an accident on the 1800 block of Dunlo Dip Road, in Adams Township late Saturday afternoon.

Units from Stations 82 and 84 responded to a one vehicle accident on the 2200 block of Forest Hills Drive.. Rescue Engine 84 arrived and cleaned up debris and cancelled other responding units.

A tornado warning issued for Cambria County Wednesday evening dispatched an all call for all fire departments to stand by. Two storm related alarms occured during the time period. Engine 842 responded to a tree fire as a result of a lightning strike, while Engine 841 responded to a wires down call, both in the Township. Power was out in the area for over a 2hour period.

Crews from Station 84, 78, and 9 were dispatched for an accident with injury on Rt 219 at the Adams / Croyle Twp line. One occupant refused treatment and transport. Car 84, Rescue 84, Engine 842 and Squad 841 handled the 5:45am alarm.

Stations 82 and 84 were dispatched for a wounded hunter in the wooded area off of Rhodes Cross Road in Sidman. Rescue 84, along with Squad 842 responded to the scene, while units from 82 set up a helicopter landing zone off of Seesetown Rd.

Rescue 84, and Squad 84 responded to assist EMS with a forcible entry at a residence on Liberty Park Rd. early this morning. Entry was made prior to EMS arrival, with victim refusing transport. Adams Township PD assisted on scene.

Rescue 84 responded to assist Medic 781 on a medical emergency alarm to a residence in St Michael, requiring forcible entry.

Stations 84 and 82, along with EMS from Forest Hills (78) and East Hills (9), responded to Wind Turbine 27 on Nordex Drive, for a scheduled drill. A downed employee due to electrical shock was the dispatch, and crews worked to extricate the victim out of the base of the turbine.

Station 84 was dispatched to assist Station 85 on traffic control on US Rt 219. They were operating an entrapment, and requested northbound lanes shut down at both St Michael and South Fork exits. 15 personnel utilizing 4 apparatus handled the request.

A first alarm ( Stations 85, 86, 84)was dispatched to a residence on the 700 block of Maple Street, South Fork for a reported structure fire. The electrical service line was burning between the home and the utility pole.

Stations 84 & 82 were dispatched for an automatic fire alarm at the National Park Memorial Annex building. The annex contains several apartments which the National Park rents out. Food on the stove was the cause for the alarm activation.

Station 84 was dispatched to assist Stations 86 and 85 on a Commercial Fire Alarm at Penn Installations in Summerhill Borough, District 86. Personnel on scene requested Fire Departments cancel, everything secure.

Stations 84 and 82 were dispatched to an automatic Fire Alarm at the CBW Federal Credit Union Saturday morning. 84 Chief arrived to note no conditions, and held the response to the engine and rescue, and cancelled Engine 82.

Stations 84 and 82 were dispatched for a commercial fire alarm at the CBW Schools Federal Credit Union in Sidman. Cleaning personnel on scene set off a detector. Crews were released by 84 Deputy.

Engine 841 responded to assist Station 85 on low hanging wires across the raodway on Baumgardner Road, Croyle Township. 85 Chief cancelled prior to arrival and was placed back into service.

Crews from Stations 82 and 84 were dispatched for an accident on Forest Hills Dr, near Elton Rd, Adams Township. One vehicle overturned. Upon arrival of first responders, the location was in Richland Township.

Station 84 was dispatched for a residential fire alarm to a residence on the 500 block of Fairview Avenue. Second call reported food on the stove, crews were released by 84 Chief, upon meeting with homeowner, and no additional services needed.
