A first alarm was dispatched for a garage fire on the 1100 block of Centennial Dr in Adams Township early Friday morning. Stations 82 and 84 were assisted by Somerset County Station 611-Windber. The one & one half story- two car garage was fully involved upon our arrival, and extended to a neighboring garage and caused heat damage to two neighboring homes. Engine 611 hit the hydrant in front of the residence and started the attack, and Engine 841 initiated the attack from a rear alley. Engine 842 dropped a 5" supply line and fed into E841. Engine 82 secured the hydrant operation. Truck 611 worked its way into the alley and 841 fed their aerial operations for a short time. Crews remained on scene for 2 hours.
